What to expect
Your tour begins with a swim at the magnificent Llanos del Cortez Waterfalls. Afterward, you will visit the Las Pumas Wildlife Rescue Center where you can see rescued animals like jaguars, pumas, ocelots, macaws, otters, monkeys, and toucans.
Then you’ll go for an authentic Costa Rican lunch at a beautiful spot overlooking the Miravalles Volcano. From there, you’ll head to the Tenorio Volcano for a two-hour hike in the tropical rainforest along trails, and over four hanging bridges spanning the forest canopy. The bridges range in height from 35 to 40 meters (115-130 feet). This is an excellent place to observe birds, butterflies, bromeliads, orchids and the splendor of the tropical jungle.
